This is a small deck in which Thermowood Decking was the clients choice. This decking board is a Scandinavian softwood which has a 15 year guarantee. A timber structure was build in this area from 5×2 treated timber at 380mm centres. Structural screws were used to fix timbers and joists together. 4×4 treated posts were concreted into holes at 600mm deep to support joists. Decking boards were predrilled and screwed down with Timco C2 decking screws.
