This is a Trex Composite Decking in Walton On Thames. The old decking was a Hardwood Decking. We carefully removed this as there was existing pipes under the deck to operate the pond.
New joisting for deck was C24 4×2 Grade 3 Treated Timber set out to Trex Installation Guide. Vertical 4×4 posts Pressure Treated were set out to support joisting and concreted into place. Timber Flange Structural screws were used to join all joisting together. Weed mat and shingle were lay on area of deck.
Trex Island Mist Transcend Grooved Edge was Decking Board used on this Deck. The fixing system was Trex Universal Clips. All cutting was carried out with a chop saw to give accurate and clean cuts.
The end result was a stunning decking in a beautiful garden with great layout.
