This is a New Composite Decking in Camberley. The client had seen different composite decking samples but was not sure which to choose. Given the colour they wanted the Trex Island Mist was a good option and a product I have fitted many times.
The area where decking would be built on was a flat level section of garden. Holes were dug in ground to correct spacing for timber structure . A timber structure of C24 4×2 pressure treated timber was cut to size and screwed together and set in place. Timber structure joists were set out to correct spacing. Timber deck structure was set of ground to desired height to avoid contact with ground. Timber uprights were screwed to timber deck structure and concreted into ground. Weedmat was rolled under structure to protect timber. Hex head structural screws were used to screw structure together. Deck structure had a slight fall to prevent water laying on deck boards.
Trex transcend 25 x 140 x 3660mm Island Mist Grooved Edge deck boards were fixed down with Trex starter clip and Trex Universal Clips. All decking boards were cut with a chopsaw to give a clean and precise finish.
